Emma is absolutely my top choice for this, a perfect host all round and especially for this role - I’m glad she’s finally getting a big moment in the spotlight again. Josh however, I really can’t comprehend it, but I’ll be optimistic as clearly the BBC have seen something. However, I can’t help but feel they’ve tried *too* hard to go AGAINST expectations, when in actual fact I think this was the right time to do exactly what everyone expected and choose a safe pair of hands, from someone in the hosting family such as Zoe Ball. I think Claudia was naturally hilarious upstairs but she was also warm and supportive, and the role should’ve continued in the hands of someone similar, not just turned into a comedy gig. I also absolutely adore Johannes (and if anything, I’d have been thrilled with just him and Emma) but I’m not sure three hosts are needed on this show, especially when he’s so good on the dance floor anyway. I’ll give this 1 single year until it’s Emma on the dance floor and someone else upstairs. We’ll see!
