Planetary OG - @AlienLabs2069 / @alienlabsTED (Propane Valley × Area 41 #3) Been wanting to try this one for a little bit now, last time I tried to snag some, it was oversold so I was glad to actually get my hands on it this time. Starting off, as soon as I peeled that freshness seal back I got a very heavy whiff of sharp, gassy, pungent piney, rubbery OG that really did surprise me a bit. So many OGs these days are mainly just earthy/piney maybe some burnt rubber and slight gas if ur lucky. This one definitely has alot more of that sharp, nostril-tingling, almost minty gas & burnt rubber upfront followed by that skunky pine, fresh tennis ball aroma & maybe just a touch of lemon on the backend. Very classic OG nose that damn near takes me back to smoking Raskal's WiFi back in 2012😮‍💨 The buds aren't the prettiest, but alot of the best OGs I've smoked never were the most beautiful - they made up for it tenfold in power & flavor. This stuff has a pretty tight trim, mostly light green & orange with a little dark greens and purples scattered throughout. Decent layer of trichomes, fairly dense but not rock hard and still pretty sticky especially on the breakdown. The flavor translates pretty well, straight fuel, rubber & pine thru & thru, definitely leaves a good coat and stain that sticks around. Definitely tons of power & lung expansion behind it, but there is a bit of a bite as well. Nothing too harsh or irritating but it's definitely there. The flavor stays pretty strong mist of the way thru but does start to fade off & taste a little more smokey/resinous around 75-80% thru. The buzz is just how an OG should be. Heavy, relaxing, powerful, low eyelids & glued to the seat kinda smoke. For the ticket at ~$40/8th this shit is doing it's thing!
