Good Evening sir, I need advise on this I met this guy back in secondary school,we were classmates. We were close friends for about 2 years, then we had a serious misunderstanding and didn’t talk for about 5 years. Eventually, we settled our differences and became friends again. After that, he was very consistent—always calling and checking up on me. About a year and a half later, we started dating, and now we’ve been together for about 3 years. For context, I’m currently a final-year student, while he is in his first year in school, although he already earns a monthly income (salary). He is also very supportive, he supports my business a lot and is naturally a giver and someone who loves to gift. The main issue in our relationship is sex. He doesn’t pressure me, but I’ve made it clear that I don’t want to have sex until after marriage. This is something I feel strongly about, especially because we’re both Muslims. However, he has mentioned that he’s not sure he can wait until marriage and even said that this issue might eventually lead to us breaking up, which has really been on my mind. Another thing that concerns me is his deen (religious commitment). It’s something I find hard to fully understand. For example, he used to drink alcohol (Captain Jack), which I really dislike. From my own perspective, I don’t like guys who drink, but with him, it feels different. I spoke to him about it, and he has stopped, but I still feel confused about where he truly stands. I really care about him, but I’m feeling conflicted and unsure about what to do moving forward. I need honest advice on how to handle this situation. Please post this on your page please.
