@mindofBrittle I’ve done it many times.Got thrown to the wolves & threw a bone. Put my life on hold with nothing to gain but backlash and bs- but saw some brokenness that just needed help. Cared for family that couldn’t care less if I was dead- but saw things they didn’t-& stood

People reveal who they are long before they reveal what they are capable of. Not through grand betrayals. Through small moments they assume no one is paying attention to. Pay attention to how they speak about people who are absent, or how they respond when someone else succeeds. Character is never hidden.

I act delusional for fun just to watch your beginner-level manipulation unfold.

@mindofBrittle Being observant saves you a whole lot when you’re really good at it. The signs and patterns are always there to reveal their true character. There eyes and wry smiles never lie when you tell them of your success and winnings.

This resonates with me more than I can put into words. That prayer, to become useful rather than merely sorrowful has been on my heart too. There comes a point where grief alone no longer feels like faith. I don't just want to feel the weight of the world's pain; I want to become part of God's answer to it, however small. May our compassion never end with tears but find its way into healing hands. 🙏🏿

I think often about how much of my sorrow has produced nothing. Entire years spent mourning the world while the world continued bleeding. I ask God for a heart that does not merely break at suffering but becomes useful because of it. Useful. Useful. Useful.

I really, truly love my husband and I’m consistently overwhelmed by the depth of gratitude I feel for his presence and participation in my life.
