Today is Notis’ first birthday. I cannot believe the team (Notis and I 🤣) achieved so much in a single year! I want to particularly thank @NotionHQ @ivanhzhao and @akothari for having inspired me to create the best productivity AI assistant - if your app wasn’t so slow and Notion AI so bad (to be fair, admittedly much better now), I’d never would have started this journey 😉🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Notis@notis_ai

2025 Wrap: 18,166 docs created. 3,674 hours saved. 1,213 reminders fired. Also: 833 new integrations + Telegram/iMessage/email. Basically I’ve been busy… unlike your inbox.

probably the peak amount of serotonin i've ever received from earning money was when i made my first mobile app and it made $50 on launch day and got 3000 downloads

okay guys @framer + @claudeai is scaring me... 1. uploaded 92+ hours of tutorials to knowledge[.]md > it's a framer expert now 2. fed it high quality visual refs + extracted design taste > it's also a visual design expert now and rn, it just built me this website. wtf?

@dmitrymalyy Spend a ridiculous amount in ads. The hardest part was cracking LTV/CPA > x2. Now it’s ‘simply’ about scaling budget while maintaining this equation.

@mindtheflo Nice work! What're you gonna be doing differently to go from $10k - $100k than $0 - $10k?

Finally! It took me 14.5 months from launch to get to 10k MRR. That's 20.5 months of 72 hours work weeks. Man, that's the hardest thing I've ever done. Next stop 100k MRR. Let's go! profile.stripe.com/mindtheflo/HVu…

By the way, thanks @marclou ! This is my new favourite setup for deep work: live map of @notis_ai users with the 2022 set of Keinmusik at the Burning Man overlayed on top. The cash-machine noise it makes on every conversion is my new personal dopamine machine.

What is the best agent harness interface you've seen where someone can manage multiple AI agents / employees?

Seems I accidentally created a product that speaks to all founders, no matter where they come from.

Hot take: general-purpose AI assistants are going to lose 🔥 The market is going to be won by agents built for a specific person doing a specific job. Not "an AI that does everything." An AI that knows exactly how a founder /exec operates and acts on it before you even ask. That's why I'm paying attention to @HeyNoahAI since when I got introduced to it last week. They didn't build another chatbot inside another app. They built an AI executive assistant that lives in your text messages. Like in this example (see video) where I have it on my Whatsapp. It learns your preferences, sends you morning briefings, handles scheduling, and follows up on things proactively. As someone who's tested dozens of AI tools this year, the ones that stick are the ones that remove friction instead of adding it. > No onboarding flow. > No API keys. > No new app to remember to check. You text, it works. That's it.

This feature of the Codex app worktree is so cool: you can generate multiple actions right in the menu. and unlike @conductor_build, it's not limited to install and run; you can create as many as you want. Also, I love the new worktree workflow: - You can quickly hand off any thread to a worktree and back to the main repo. - You can also create "permanent worktree" as an alternative to per-conversation worktree, which is super cool when working on multiple refactorings in parallel. Unmatched convenience + unmatched value + unmatched intelligence = congrats @OpenAI. You cooked.

I’m sorry to report that codex + gpt-5.4 has taken over my stack and fully replaced @cursor_ai (which I’m a huge fan) and @conductor_build. Performance + intelligence + simplicity is unbeatable atm. Only reason I still open @cursor is debug agent. Net result: one 200$ subscription. Cancelled Claude 100$ and Cursor 200$ (keeping 60$ cause again I’m a big fan). Of course it’s temporary, the competition is intense and as a solo entrepreneur I still have to optimize subscriptions - otherwise I’d still run Cursor.
