@drew4955 I’m sure the factory building the engines is in same boat as local dealers trying to find someone competent to assemble or repair the product they’re selling. Skilled labour is a real problem

Trying to keep my emotions outta this one, but man. This is a tough pill to swallow.
John Deere 13.6 lt. 1600 hrs on the engine. Been maintained as it should, and looks like it’s going to be getting a crate engine..
Out of warranty… i sure hope this isn’t the standard for late model equipment, if it is, we are in for a world of hurt…
Local dealer has been awesome to us so far. No complaints there. Curious if we will see any help from the top or if we are going to be on our own with this one…

@minerlee1 @Wilsonfarmgrain What insurance covers crop damage by fires?
English

Was on the way to the last field of the year for beans and looked back in the mirror and seen the center belt on the Draper was on fire. 3 extinguishers later we pulled into a neighbors field and pulled the pin and drove away.
It can happen fast
Combine blown off every night.

When your cow is so tall you can't reach high enough to keep its head up, you just let it rest on your shoulder... not sure what the judge thought about it LOL

@farmerschneck How many inches of topsoil do you have on average and are you worried at all of areas not having much left after leveling?
