This is what I mean when I say a lot of people who grew up a certain way and/or went straight into a an industry with others just like them financially often have no concept of how most people experience things like unemployment or living paycheck to paycheck and genuinely imagine it's like this.

@suzyputrid A few things: do you truly WANT to play it? Not just "wouldn't it be cool if..." It comes from a place of passion I think. Learn simple tracks and basslines that you love before going hard on method and technique, those will follow. Learn slow, build speed.
