If content creation is your full time job, you will find a way to make it work. If you want a general idea on how long this process takes overall: Time Stamping and self clipping: 1.25-1.75x the length of the VOD (a 4 hour VOD will maybe take you 5-6 hours if you're new at it.) If you're a lot more trained in what to look for or are super duper familiar with the content, maybe 0.8-1.2x the length instead. Shorts: Maybe 1-3 hours if you're new to editing, but if you're saucy with it, 30-90 minutes. More complex shorts will only multiply this number even harder. Source: I sat in a dorm room for a year and a half in the dark every single day editing my own and others' content. Hope this helps give an idea on how much time realistically goes into creating short-form content!
