@mintdotit wasn't aware how the platform work and fired a 0.5 unneccesarily for 1 mint. where does the excess go? no refund?

We have lowered the default mint settings to a smaller number of attempts due to confusion about how our platform works and the behaviors we have observed. If you wish to make more aggressive attempts than the default, you can enter a custom amount of up to 100 attempts. Note: Whether you make 1 or 100 attempts, you can only win one mint reward per interval. To have 10 chances to win, you need to make 10 attempts 10 times. Alternatively, you can make 1 attempt 10 times, but this gives you a lower probability each time. Please refresh your browser for the changes to take effect.

Started off a bit slow, but we're now seeing more tickers successfully complete their mints! We're actively working on improvements and fixes based on the feedback we receive, and this is just the beginning. There's much more to come in the future, including Telegram integration from the start for all mints, with custom bots set up to help communities gather from day one!

It looks like we have one of our first projects launching permissionlessly on mint.it! Tokens created on mint.it do not expire, and the mint continues until all tokens are minted. In cases like this, if you are not competing for mint rewards, your chance of winning is 100%, with a cost of only 0.01 SOL per reward of 312,500 tokens.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ When you make attempts, they only apply to one mint reward. A new mint reward is available every 400 ms (equivalent to each Solana block). There is a total of 1600 mint rewards that reward 312,500 tokens. If you make 100 attempts in a single transaction, all 100 attempts will count towards the chance of winning just one reward. If you make 100 individual attempts, each will be counted separately across 100 intervals. This is different from bonding curves, where you purchase everything at once. Different strategies and mint conditions will yield varying results.

@mintdotit I tried to create a token, it took my sol and didn't create it. Tx failed.

We have encountered a small bug that we are patching. Minting will resume in a few minutes. If you created a mint during this time, you will have to start a fresh mint and your current mint will be removed. All costs for creating mint and attempts on $MINTDOG, $MINTCAT, and $BANDCAT will be refunded and you can relaunch your tokens once live is back online.
