IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: MINTEREST IS SUNSETTING OPERATIONS
Dear Community,
After careful consideration of operational and market realities, we have made the difficult decision to sunset the Minterest protocol. We know this will be hard news for the entire community, as it is for the team.
From the beginning, this community has believed in a vision of fairer lending. Since the project’s restructuring in 2023, a smaller team has kept Minterest running, shipped new deployments across multiple chains, and pushed for product–market fit because we believed in the mission and the underlying technology.
We recently shared our capital challenges while exploring multiple PMF paths (new-chain alignments, stablecoin yield, and enterprise/RWA pilots) and funding options. Despite our best efforts over the last several months, we’re no longer in a position to continue operations that would provide adequate support to the community or to maintain the Minterest protocol professionally.
Given today’s constraints, a careful wind-down is the right step. The wind-down does not include any token issuance, distribution, or refund for CAE/LBP participants, private investors, or those impacted by the prior security-incident. We recognise this is not the outcome any party had hoped for.
What this means for protocol users
We will complete an orderly, wind-down of the Minterest protocol on 19 December 2025. Your deployed assets remain secure throughout this process.
If you are a current supplier or borrower on Ethereum or Mantle Network:
- Repay and withdraw your assets on the Minterest protocol by 19 December.
- Live until 19 Dec: 23:59 (UTC+00:00): Minterest App UI front end. (Ethereum & Mantle Network Only)
- Paused/removed: New supply/borrow is paused. The front end will go offline on 19 Dec (a simple contract-interaction guide will be available for use after).
- Preservation: Audits, changelogs, and code repositories will be archived.

We’ll also post periodic reminders so no one misses the sunset window.
