What an interesting parallel where as painters, it's not recommended to use black with nature scenes. Mixing colors into a very dark shade is better. 🎨 I'd go for a Smoky Black or Midnight Blue!

#OnThisDay in 1942, singer Curtis Mayfield was born. The Chicago native made his first recordings in 1958 as a member of The Impressions. Mayfield infused gospel and blues with messages of uplift and racial pride to give voice to the struggles of everyday Black Americans.

Even in 2007, my HS friends were already in Misses or Plus size clothing ranges. We laughed about how tiny junior tops were ("You'll need 3 bikini tops to cover one tit!") I could see that trend continuing for 20 years where the jump from girls -> misses size range is direct.

@kyleshevlin And before gyms I was really into other forms of body movement! That's all it's about, let's get out and move our bodies. I love hula hooping and dancing. I even did some belly dancing and water aerobics once!

@kyleshevlin Getting a personal trainer has been a huge motivator. And finding the right gym for you! Skip the chain gyms and find something local in your area. My gym is run by a Kinesiology professor, so everything is backed by movement science.
