@BiodunAdeyanju1 @JohnFanimokun @Renewedm1nd Well, if only he is as intelligent as you seem to assume. The dude is patently shallow and unintelligent. Yes, you dont necessarily have to be intelligent or smart to be rich or do business.

@JohnFanimokun @Renewedm1nd He’s not witty. His answer could have been; Politics is a game of interest; it’s an alignment of interest, not moral conduction. They are still innocent until the arm of the law says otherwise. You cant crucify them in the court of public opinion

Can you pleaae respect the intelligence of those who are not your gullible followers by explaining in specific terms how exactly Tinubu is responsible for this??? They will continue to be in dissaray for as long as they keep failing to take responsibility for their own failures, and for as long as they have disgruntled people like you helping them to make excuses for failure. It was Tinubu that sent Atiku out of PDP. It was Tinubu who sent Peter Obi from Labour. It was Tinubu who forced David Mark and co to hijack the ADC. It was Tiinubu who asked David Mark to file an appeal case and lose it. And If there was no leadership crisis in ADC, why did David Mark file an appeal and lost it???? Bunch of clowns who do not want to put in the work. They will always blame others for their own failure.

"Adan" has finally captured the ADC. Closing Nigeria’s democratic space is no “master strategy.” While Bola Tinubu and his supporters may celebrate his ability to suppress and sow discord within other parties, and it may appear that he is “winning,” Nigeria is losing. When democratic space is restricted, people are driven underground. One would hope that his so called “master strategy” would instead have a positive impact on the lives of millions of Nigerians facing insecurity, economic hardship, and other pressing challenges.

The strait was open. He starts a war. The strait closes. The world economy gets fucked. He doesn’t know what he’s doing, he gets bored, he declares victory, and he tells the rest of the world to open the strait, to clean up his mess. He’s such a prick. He’s such a destructive prick.

El-Rufai was not a criminal convict serving an active term in a correctional facility. He was just a suspect in a detention pursuant to a remand order of a judge. So, It is procedurally possible for a judge, upon due application of the defence or prosecutor or botn, to issue and sign a warrant of release of anyone in detention even on a Sunday. Dont judges sign warrant of arrest or searches in Chambers or at home even on Weekends? Conversely, they can issue or sign warrant of release in similar vetsions. Bail is primarily at the discretion of judges partocularly in non-capital offences. Dr Abati should talk to senior or experienced lawyers or read correct laws or procedures to update his legal education. However, and this is my own reservations, we can say such an extra-ordinary legal compassion is mainly available to proviledged persons. El-Rufai has merely enjoyed a priviledge that is not necesarily unlawful.

.@abati1990: "The release of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai from the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), on temporary, compassionate grounds, on Friday, March 27, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Ummar El-Rufai in Cairo, Egypt, raises legal, philosophical and communal belief issues that are at once controversial and discernable. The release is wrong. It is an abuse of due process. Mallam Nasir el-Rufai was remanded in custody on the orders of the court of law. Many have questioned this, particularly as El-Rufai insisted that he has been a victim of political persecution. Except that the law is not governed by street sentiments or the emotions of those affected by it." thecable.ng/nasir-el-rufai…

You are just another partisan clown masqurading as objective. That is what Sowore thinks of Alex Otti and he is entitled to. By the way, do you also think high of Lagos Governor or Borno Governor as you think of Alex Otti as the only performing Governor? Finally, many of us think PBAT is the best President (our rights to think so) and there is absolutely nothing that inconsequential clowns like you can do about it. The lesson: have your free opinion of any govt or public officials and let others have theirs.

Trying El-Rufai in Kaduna has to be the most politically amateurish thing to do in APC’s quest to diminish the man. Say what you want about him online, El-Rufai is very well loved by a majority in that state. Uba Sani is done for sure, Tinubu soon to follow, by God’s Grace.

@xkalibaer @General_Somto Dont conflate things mischievouly by taking them out of their contexts. The issue was about holding a PRESS CONFERENCE or MEETINGS inside a court room. That is not milling around or one or two people natural conversations.

@mislaw178 @General_Somto A court room is a venue. Before proceedings start people have conversations and mill around. I guess the noise they make while waiting the judge makes the court room lose its hallowness? Mr man, it only becomes a hallowed chamber when proceedings start

What happened today at the Federal High Court, Kaduna. Malam Nasir @elrufai appeared today before the Federal High Court in Kaduna for arraignment on charges filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). Surprised that Justice R. M. Aikawa was presiding over the matter, El-Rufai’s legal team reminded the court of their client’s petition against the judge which is pending before the National Judicial Council (NJC). Justice Aikawa ruled that he would at least conduct the arraignment of the two defendants, and hear the matter of his recusal if counsel would bring it by way of a formal written application. The court adjourned proceedings to 31 March 2026 for the hearing of bail and any other applications filed on behalf of Malam El-Rufai and Mr. Joel Adoga. On 17 March 2026, the Kaduna Division of the Court of Appeal set aside Justice Aikawa’s judgment in a fundamental rights enforcement suit that El-Rufai had filed in 2024 against the Kaduna State House of Assembly. The appellate court upheld El-Rufai’s contention that he had been denied a fair hearing and ordered the Federal High Court to rehear the matter afresh. That case had prompted the first petition against Justice Aikawa by El-Rufai’s counsel. In a petition dated 18 July 2024, AU Mustapha, SAN, on behalf of Malam El-Rufai, accused Justice Aikawa of gross bias, injustice, and denial of fair hearing. The petition, addressed to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, requested that the case be reassigned to another judge. When that request was not granted, El-Rufai’s counsel pursued and succeeded in the appeal. The second petition against Justice Aikawa, dated 18 March 2025, was submitted by Malam Nasir El-Rufai to the Chief Justice of Nigeria in her capacity as Chairman of the National Judicial Council (NJC). In it, El-Rufai accused Justice Aikawa of bias, injustice, denial of fair hearing, and conduct unbecoming of a judicial officer. Malam Nasir El-Rufai sent reminders concerning the petition to the Chief Justice of Nigeria in November 2025 and again in March 2026. The most recent reminder urged the Chief Justice to ensure that the NJC expedites the resolution of the petition without further delay. The reminder also requested the Chief Justice to direct the immediate transfer of all relevant cases before the Federal High Court, Kaduna, to another judge “as a prudent interim measure to restore impartiality and safeguard judicial processes.”

@sowore Was Clearly Wrong in that video! A couple of things to unpack. 1) A court PREMISES is a public facility open to everyone regardless of whether they have a case or not. 2) The COURTROOM is also a public facility open to all and sundary. 3) However, both are not the same as a COURTROOM is a hallowed chamber designated for only one and one business only - to conduct cases under the authority of a presiding judge or justices. This is rooted in written law and legal traditions all over the world. (DÁKÉ ÌLÙ ÀTI ARIWO - stop all meriments and other activities). 4) While anyone may hold meeting or press conference or conduct any lawful business within the PREMISES of a court as a public facility, no one is allowed, not even a SAN, to do other things insider the COURTROOM (even while the court is not in session). 5. Sowore was wrong here probably out of ignorance or his characteristic rudely and unruly dispositions. If he must hold his meeting or press conference or whatever, Sowore should have looked for an appropriate place within or outside the court PREMISES. This is the standard globally regarding the COURTROOMS (they are hallowed chambers for specific purposes). 6. The Learned Silk was rigjt. If I were him, I would have ignored Sowore after noticing his unwilingness to take corrections and/or rudeness. I would have called the Registrar of that Courtroom to do his job. I would then wait to report to the judge in the open court aftetwards. 7. Ultimately, the Registrar of that particular COURTROOM failed in duty. He is probably ignorant and/or afraid of the pattently unruly Sowore. I mean, It was the sole responsibility of the Registrar as the administtative manager of that coutroom to guide Sowore properly and, if necessary, order him out of the Courtroom. Sowore should learn to be orderly and respectful. His penchant for anarchy and lawlessness is deeply concerning.
