While continuing work along Ridge Road in Glenhazel Ext 2, the Streetlight Maintenance Team identified another non-functional streetlight, this time due to a broken pole.
The team has successfully planted a new pole, and the affected streetlight is now fully operational.

Bez Valley and Kensington Section Off.
A blown transformer substation (TSS) located at the corner of 2nd Street and Albertina Sisulu (Kitchener) in Bez Valley has caused power disruption for several customers in Bez Valley and parts of Kensington, specifically on Essex, Emerald, Ferret, and Durham Streets.
The service provider has been appointed and is currently arranging the necessary materials to carry out the repairs.
The estimated time of restoration (ETR) will be communicated once the materials have been delivered to the site.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and are committed to providing regular updates to customers as the situation develops. ^ZD

Bellevue Substation Update
Our teams have successfully restored power supply to approximately 88% of the customers in Bellevue, Cyrildene, De Wetshof, Houghton Estate, Linksfield Ridge and Observatory.
Three load centers remain offline due to cable fault between Mons and Steyn. Repairs for the remaining 12% are set to take place today, impacting Young, Frederick, Steyn, and nearby streets within the Observatory area. The ETR will be communicated in subsequent updates.
This is in response to a trip at the Judith and Gerald distributor. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and we commit to regularly keeping customers updated on developments. ^OS
