@Bobby_Seagull @GMB I think it’s very interesting that people would be happy to get rid of teachers having a maths GCSE but I wonder if they’d feel the same about them not having an English GCSE?

With 16 y/o Luke Littler showing prowess with his mental arithmetic & numeracy in the darts, thought this @GMB debate might be interesting... Should all teachers have GCSE Maths? Yes I say! A university chief proposed removing GCSE maths for teaching to increase recruitment.

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

Spent my first day entirely with my form which was brilliant! 7EJ is the best form around, you heard it here first👏🏻✨
