Had an amazing trip recently with senior phase pupils last week! We enjoyed Sweeney Todd @RCStweets and the pupils even got a tour of the university. A wonderful opportunity and experience. @sanquharacademy

Yesterday we hosted a wonderful Literacy Event, bringing together our S1s @sanquharacademy and Kelloholm and Sanquhar Primary. It was great to see everyone engaging enthusiastically in the different workshops and having a great time working and learning together. 📖✨

🎉 The S1s had a brilliant time celebrating European Day of Languages! 🇪🇺 They played French & Spanish games, danced to songs and got involved in fun, language-themed activities. 🌍✨Thank you @sanqacadlangs for organising this - it was great to see everyone taking part!

Today I finished my probation year at @Kilwinning_Acad. Huge thanks to the amazing pupils and staff for all the kindness, support - and lovely gifts! I’ve had a brilliant year. Excited to start the next chapter at @sanquharacademy in August as a fully qualified English teacher!

Last Film Club session at @Kilwinning_Acad today. Pupil K (a regular since day one!) made me a LEGO version of myself, complete with a lightsaber and the One Ring! 🧱✨ Thank you so much! I hope you keep on enjoying Media Studies in the future!

Fab Friday with my S4s - our final hurrah filled with music, snacks and laughs. It’s been a joy teaching such a brilliant bunch this year. Keep being your amazing selves and working hard. So proud of you all! @Kilwinning_Acad

What an amazing and emotional day! S1s are moving up to S2 on Monday and they spent the day reminiscing over their year in English. You have all been amazing and achieved so much this year already! Bring on S2! 💪

What a great Friday! Had a hot chocolate, courtesy of KA Roasters @MissThomson_HFT ☕️. Then, the National 5s completed their listening and talking assessment as we went on a wellbeing walk. ☀️
