We’ve been learning all about growth mindset in primary 5 and ways that we can grow our brains to view challenges and setbacks in a more positive way. We are going to use growth mindset to help us achieve our growth goals for the year that we have up on the wall to refer to🪴

Such a fantastic, emotional last day on my final placement. I have been blessed with the most amazing class and supportive mentor🥰 Can’t wait to have my own wee class in August, I am so ready for this next chapter👩🏼‍🏫

We have been having great fun in P3 this morning sorting 3D shapes into different categories based on their properties. Such fantastic discussion happening amongst the children while they explored different mathematical vocabulary 🔴🟩🟡🟪

In p3 our writing focus has been instructions. We have also been looking at how we can show kindness and respect to others. Today we wrote instructions for ‘our friendship potion’ where the children discussed elements that make a good friend - super impressed with the results🤩

Had such a fantastic day meeting my mentor and P3 class for my final placement! Excited to get stuck in on this placement, build up some positive relationships and teach my first few lessons this week👩🏼‍🏫📚

The end is in sight🤩 One step closer to having my own class in August - it’s all getting very real now, I can’t wait!!

We had a really interesting workshop this morning on developing play pedagogy with @laburke_1 Was helpful looking at the ways we can incorporate play into our practice using different provisions, and how we can use these in the early years to spark interest amongst the children
