Made a promise to get off the sofa and go for a 1-2hr walk each day this holiday. I was making time for 3-4 hours evening telly yet struggling to convince myself to put on my trainers during most half terms so I’m v pleased with this :)

@miss_gauld This sounds amazing and I might add some of these ideas to my traditional tales unit. Have you used 'Inside the Villains' book by Clotilde Perrin? I use it to create instructions on how to make a traditional villain or hero. The children love it and I get lots of GD writing.

Due to start a traditional tales unit in Y6. So excited with how much scope there is so far.. Origin stories of some of the ‘villains’ Suspense/thriller writing Debates on the relevance of fairy tales in 2025 Letters 5 years on from different characters So much GD opp 👸🧚🧙‍♀️🏰
