Trotz Maske 😷 Sa: Halsschmerzen und abgeschlagen. Test negativ. So (heute) früh: 38.8 Fieber, Kopf-, Hals, Gliederschmerzen. Inzwischen kein Fieber mehr, aber Husten & Halsschmerzen. Von wegen #Corona ist „leichte Grippe“ ihr Lügner.

Which is to say, you can wear it with a sport coat and the collar points will stand up, not collapse under the lapel. This one is from Stoffa, but you can also find Johnny collar polos from 3sixteen and Suitsupply. Often made from jersey, these feel more like sweaters than polos. Pic 4: Good. Mesh polo (this one is from Aime Leon Dore). If you're shy, wear a sleeveless tank underneath. There are also retro styles with Talented Mr Ripley vibes. Point: Polos get a bad rep bc everyone only thinks of the ones guys wear on golf courses, but there are many other styles.

Recovering from my first bout with COVID after all these years, I have a deepened sense of tragedy around the impulse to minimize or deny its impacts. The phrase was “just a flu,” when it’s obvious that it’s so much more than that, and with such worrying/novel/chaotic symptoms./1

@_toertchen Glaub man kann es echt nicht generalisieren. Wir waren beide viermal geimpft und vor 15 Monaten genesen und es hat uns doch erstaunlich doll erwischt. Eine Woche positiv, sehr schlapp und ich hatte einen Abend fast 40C. Immerhin keine fiese Atemsynptome!

@_toertchen Ja, mach das. Ich war noch mal alles einkaufen, was man so braucht wenn man krank ist, mussten dann nur einmal was bestellen. Hätte auch noch mal so viel Haushalt machen sollen wie möglich, denn dafür war dann erstmal keine Kraft mehr da.
