After months, I had a last minute call to get an ablation. I thought it was going to be fairly simple. I’m fucking wrecked! And I collapsed on my way to bed last night, although I am wondering if I should have had that cheeky beer after all the anaesthetic meds.

My dad died a while ago and it was no big deal because he left when I was young and I didn't really know him. But every now and then, in a mirror or a window, I catch a partial glimpse of my eyes or face as I move my head, and I swivel round because I'm sure it is him behind me.
