#LISDBoard approves the name of ES#30. Donald Lewis Hisle Elementary will open in the fall. Hisle was a Board of Trustee for more than 20 years. A servant leader, he led #1LISD through growing from 8 schools to 42 schools, from less than 10k students to nearly 40k students.

Went completely off the grid in Kauai today, joined a local & hiked through the rainforest in Huleia National Wildlife Refuge, which is closed to the public. Using 2 ropes, I climbed the cliff & walked under the 60 foot Papakolea Falls!!! Julie joined me later for a swim below!
