@misslizzes @doepilled Yes but we’re referring to the actual prose here. You can prefer hl without exaggerating the literary quality and acting like it’s some pulitzer level of literature in comparison to the others

calling this playlist “whimsical” is laughable. most of the katiefeely snippets have been about the banter. stop acting like cw is the greatest writer only when writing r10/c10 & her writing regresses when writing other books. her writing has been trash for the entire series tbh

@doepilled writing is a lot more than syntax/diction. in terms of depth, plot originality etc hl is better written than kf and yes it’s still evident even w/o kf book cause we can compare pre r10 hl’s snippets to kf’s and there would be a clear winner
