Gregg went to Conestoga and I went to Perkiomen Valley but I was in love with all of the goth girls that were in love with him so we would hang out at the King Of Prussia mall on Friday nights smoking Belairs and talking about the Cure. He was a guitar virtuoso before he was old enough to drive but was nice enough to dumb it down when I would ask him to record my nonsense. Somewhere there is a cassette of us covering Pull My Strings in my parents’ living room in 1987. The best part about the recording is my mom starts yelling at me when I get to the “Is my cock big enough?” line.
