Year 2 enjoyed a visit to Lincoln library to explore books that have levers and sliders in them, which will help us with ideas for our DT project!

We have enjoyed listening to a story about Kiki who had a very busy brain! We then learnt how to illustrate a very silly story made from lots of random objects from around the house!

This morning, we have enjoyed taking part in a 'Moon landing coding adventure' and learnt how an algorithm is a set of instructions which we can use to code computers!

We are so impressed with the progress that this little one has made this term. Great use of vocabulary to describe a new setting!

Today, we have been helping out Humpty Dumpty and testing different materials to see which would be best at protecting him, along with being comfortable and lightweight. A great afternoon of scientific investigation!

In art, we learnt how to create tone while shading. The top rules were to shade in one direction, no gaps, use a shading grip and change the pressure of your shading. This little one has been very busy at home practicing these skills...what a super job! @IvoryLaycockSP
