My students had so much fun during the Drone Delivery challenge! The hands on activity was accessible for all of my kiddos and they creatively engaged in the design process while creating their own carrier devices. The egg drop was the highlight for my kiddos!

They designed carrier systems for safe package delivery and attempted egg drops with zero cracks! This initiative is part of our Educator Engagement strategy to make STEM accessible and fun for all students 🚀

Today’s Classroom talks, we have grade 6 teacher Tazmin Toor. She is part of our Teacher Capacity-Building in-Class Initiative with incredible educators. 📚🚌 Tazmin has integrated our STEM curriculum into her classes, and her testimonial about its impact truly warms our hearts

Students built 3D houses out of cardboard and demonstrated their understanding of circuits as part of the @Skills_Canada competition. These students chose to create spooky houses and I must say, they are super creative! Way to go @EarnscliffeSPS!

Thank you to the sweetest @E_Ale2020 and my wonderful classes of 6F2 and 6F4 for making my birthday so special. I am truly blessed to be working in a school where there is so much kindness and love. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate my birthday 🎂

Our amazing staff and students at @EarnscliffeSPS have been engaging in learning as part of the The Moccasin Identifier Project. Today we became one with the land and left a trail of moccasins around the school community. @kevseb @LisaWillTeach

6F2 & 6F4 have been engaged in inquiry based learning where they researched environmentalists from around the world, young & experienced. In collaboration with Eco Club, they created this beautiful bulletin board display to inspire others🦅 @kevseb @LisaWillTeach @EarnscliffeSPS

For Asian Heritage Month, students led various workshops including Chinese Lantern making, fan making, calligraphy, chopsticks, origami, henna and Bhangra dancing! The students exemplified outstanding leadership as they led the workshops with passion. Go Eagles! @EarnscliffeSPS

First day back from March Break and we’re already diving into deep math learning! My students have been loving doing math on vertical non-permanent surfaces! There has been a shift from “What’s my mark?” to “What other strategy can I try?” 🙌🏽 @pgliljedahl @kevseb @LisaWillTeach

Our fraction math centres were a hit! Students used various hands on & digital tools (e.g., number lines, pattern blocks, fraction towers, cuisenaire rods, etc) to work through task cards. The excitement to do fractions and work with manipulatives was contagious! @EarnscliffeSPS
