I took a moment at the beach, gathered my thoughts, and finally decided to edit. About an hour in… the lights went off. Next thing I hear: “obiara nsi fam oo!” everyone should get down. Panic everywhere. People running. I was scrambling to grab my gadgets and find something to wear, my heart racing. Then I stepped out and saw itthe transformer at the hotel was on fire. Staff and guests just standing there, watching it burn but later was able to put the fire out I’m okay… just shaken. Because in that moment, all I could think was: what if everything went up in flames? And I’m even on the last floor… Hmm
