one thing i don't rly get ab american culture is how unwilling parents are to help their kids who just turned 18. why do they get kicked out or are expected to pay rent when they went from minor to adult overnight 💀😭 like my immigrant household would NEVER.

@imclarao @cwilburlovebot personally wala akong kilalang filam that had parents encourage them to learn tagalog but weren't interested in it. It was mostly parents who prevented them from using tagalog at all. pero for those who only learn and use tagalog/bisaya performatively like u said? ughhhh

if you teach your kid to be an englishera that doesn't speak tagalog, you are sabotaging your child socially. i was a victim of this, and i was ostracized practically my whole life because i couldn't speak tagalog that fluently like other kids.

@cwilburlovebot i knew some fil am classmates who transferred to the ph whose parents were way too americanized that they prevented them from speaking tagalog but somehow enrolled them in a school in the ph. guess what? could barely pass filipino class and had to take special classes.

@cwilburlovebot its also stupid if you immigrate to another country and dont even bother to teach your child your native langauge. your child will fucking end up learning and speaking the language you immigrated in anyway, why not fucking teach them the language of the motherland????

f1 built to win is a god tier game. afaik the only NES game with car tuning and anime girls AND a casino for some reason. i wouldnt be surprised if this game was the spark that would eventually lead to the making of the first gran turismo.

the chat simulator user script is a fucking game changer 😭

reminded of my attempt at making an uber pixie. making a bunch of mitamas and fusing is the easy part. the painful part is the skill set bonus. it becomes harder to activate the higher lvl you are because you steamroll enemies too much to the point it becomes RNG.

after putting it off for a little bit, i finally reached this iconic line again
