this particular man is a menace! he often threaten guys with “ we go incriminate you and nothing go happen” they operate along festac/satellite axis. the day i was going out, they stopped our bolt and forcefully took me to the same corner for a search. they almost beat and cuff me cos i stood on my right, i was roughed up and my clothes got dirty. his partner opened my WhatsApp and searched for fraud related words. at the end, they extorted me of 15k. i reported the issue to @PoliceNG_CRU and was refered to the SO, and my money got refunded. my question is , how are these guys still operating on the highway even after reporting to the CRU and SO. @PoliceNG_CRU @LagosPoliceNG @TunjiDisu1

That Peter Obi’s tweet has ended Tinubu’s presidency. Tinubu is now hated times 20. Tinubu is one term President. Tinubu is worse than Ebola.

You don’t understand what it means for Tinubu and his fellow criminals not to be able to pin one corrupt charge on Peter Obi. My respect for Peter Obi is DEEP! I’m inspired! Deeply deeply inspired by his integrity. A former governor who could have chosen to enjoy certain “office perks” but didn’t. Those “perks” would have been used to pin corruption on him today. See, we need more Peter Obis in Nigeria.

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Today, I joined leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other committed democrats at a world press conference to strongly condemn the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) brazen and unacceptable partisanship. I fully endorse the position of the gathering: In 2027, Nigerians must be allowed to freely choose their leaders from a diverse range of political parties. The electoral umpire has no right to impose a single candidacy on Africa’s largest and most vibrant democracy. - RMK

Leadership Without Compassion is Not Leadership During his visit to Benue State in June 2025, Bola Ahmed Tinubu stopped at the Government House but did not go to the actual scene where innocent Nigerians lost their lives. Similarly, yesterday in Jos, his engagement ended at the airport instead of at the affected communities. What happened in Plateau yesterday highlights a complete absence of leadership. True leadership requires presence, empathy, compassion, and a willingness to meet people where their pain truly lies. For citizens who have just lost loved ones, homes, and their sense of safety, being addressed from an airport tarmac is profoundly inadequate. This approach exacerbates the sense of abandonment already felt by innocent Nigerians who have endured repeated cycles of violence without meaningful protection or justice. Plateau deserves more than distant words; it requires urgent action and a clear commitment to ending the insecurity that continues to claim innocent lives. In such moments, leadership must not only be visible but also tangible—standing with victims, listening to survivors, and acknowledging the depth of their grief. If we truly desire a better Nigeria, we must demand leadership that is present, responsive, and responsible at all times. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Leadership Tussle: Nafiu Bala Resigns As ADC Chairman By Funke Ogunlolu The 2023 Gombe governorship candidate and former national deputy chairman of the African democratic congress. Nafiu Bala has tendered his letter of resignation after declaring himself as the interim national chairman of the party. In the letter Addressed to the former national chairman of the party, Ralph Nwosu, Bala stated that his resignation was to pave way for smooth and effective coalition as well as restructuring the party. Bala assured that he is not abandoning the party and ready to serve in any capacity but the former Gombe governorship candidate was silenced on the David Mark-led interim leadership. The announcement came after the official handing over of ADC to the former Senate President and his team by the former national executive committee on Wednesday. During his declaration as the national chairman, Bala had accused Mark-led interim leadership of the ADC of hijacking the party through unconstitutional means and warned of impending legal action to challenge what he described as a “total surrender” of the party’s structure to external political actors. The former deputy national chairman emphasized that the party’s constitution clearly outlines the processes for leadership succession and that, in line with those provisions, he was now assuming the position of interim national chairman. Harley knows you are lonely and so she
Prime, Netflix left Nigeria. TikTok, Instagram doesn’t pay Nigerian creators because low priority, guess why? Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pay way less per Nigerian viewer. Roll outs, perks, only get to us after years of creators in other climes enjoying them. There’s no light. There’s no regulation of rent. Data tariff increases depending on the network provider’s mood. Fuel is 1300 per liter. Fuel has become lighter, evaporates quicker. 5 liters of 2022 is not same as now. But yeah!!! Bring your tax. File your tax! I won’t give you job but if you create one for yourself, I still won’t make it easy for you because I’ll make sure bulk of your money goes to rent payment and electricity. And things will also get ridiculously expensive because $1 is 1450 naira. But yeah, FILE YOUR FUCKING TAX!!! We pay VAT per online transaction. We pay VAT per light purchase. We pay VAT per every purchase or transaction. But hold on… FILE YOUR TAX!!!! And no matter what ridiculousness that happens, we swear that the “next one” that will “definitely” be our tipping point. Bloody hell!

Can Peace Reign in the land? What have we done wrong that has brought us this level of insecurity? When can peace reign in Plateau, Benue, Niger, Sokoto, Kwara, Kogi and all the other troubled states of our nation, or should we just accept now that security in some parts of Nigeria has become a norm and impossible to handle? Should we just give up and accept defeat and surrender to fear while our people continue to die and our communities are ravaged and destroyed? We cannot let this become the new normal. The violence is not inevitable, and peace is not impossible, it is the failure of leadership that has made it feel otherwise. We must demand action and refuse to accept a Nigeria where some states are abandoned to chaos. Silence is not an option. We must secure our nation before more lives are lost. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
