Trump may soon deploy the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. Paratroopers always get the job done. I know because I also served in this division. I also know what it’s like to be deployed with no clear strategy or end game. Americans deserve better.

Question: Did Iran gain the power to open and close the Strait of Hormuz from this war? @RepJasonCrow: “They view the Strait of Hormuz as one of their most decisive pieces of terrain, and they will not give it up because they believe that that is their biggest piece of leverage.”

Rep. Jason Crow, who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, says the Trump administration has “stonewalled” Congress on the conflict with Iran, telling @margbrennan the administration has not provided lawmakers with an updated timeline on how long it expects the military campaign to last. “It’s time for this to end,” Crow (D-CO) says.

Asked whether there is a way to structure an Iran war supplemental that he would be comfortable with, Rep. Jason Crow, who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, says, “No,” and pushes back on any accusation Democrats don’t support American troops. “What I’m not going to do is just throw money at the Iran war,” Crow (D-CO) says. “We spent 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan, trillions of dollars, it ends here. It must end here.”

When asked about the ongoing DHS shutdown’s impact on TSA workers and airports across the country, Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) says Republicans “own the government shutdown.” “They are in control of every element of government,” Crow tells @margbrennan. “They’re in control of what we vote for and don’t vote for.”

Congressman @JasonCrowCO is clear that this is a Republican shutdown of TSA: "Republicans are in control of every element of government. We are saying ‘let’s open it back up.’ Let’s fund FEMA, let’s fund TSA, let’s fund cybersecurity, which by the way we need because we just started a war with Iran which has a huge cyber capability. We want to fund it. We are ready to fund it. We will take the vote tomorrow. They are stopping it. They own this shutdown."
