Parts of the Eastern Corn Belt experienced sub freezing temperatures overnight, with more of the same to come tonight. I noticed several fields were poking through yesterday that were planted several weeks ago. #Agrigold

@AgriGold Ohio is on the board with an E3 soybean plot near Piqua, OH. This weekends forecast seems like an opportunity to evaluate each varieties cold/wet stress tolerance as they emerge in the coming weeks.

Seeing a lot of “cork screw corn” due to soil crusting in many Apr. 27 - May 2 planted fields. Regardless of planting date make sure to score your emergence to determine population and plant health.

April 29th planted @AgriGold 3001 E3 showing outstanding early season vigor and wet feet tolerance. This field sat under water for several days and took an abundance of temp swings. Soybeans are tough @GfisherAG
