@gb123geo Same here, more or less. I have facebook and a Mastodon account, but I'm not overly active on either one. I see having less social media in my life as a good thing on the whole. I'm very satisfied with the native Twitter app on my phone if I need it, though. :-)

Even thoughI knew this was coming, it's still makes me sad. I don't see myself being all that active on Twitter anymore, but the iPhone app is usable enough.

It appears that Twitter has deactivated the API we relied on to automatically tweet new site content. As a result, we will need to manually tweet updates, which unfortunately will cause delays. This has also reportedly hit other popular tools such as TW Blue and TweeseCake.

@Bruce_Toews For what it's worth, which I know isn't much, our local paratransit doesn't offer online scheduling either. I have a subscription trip to and from work now, so it's not as big of a deal as it used to be, but calling the contact center every day/week is a major pain for sure.

@kjw810 My advice would be to uninstall but keep your settings. Then use nvda or narrator to get whatever the newest jaws is from their web site. That *should* work.

OK I need help. I finally decided to update JAWS. I have Version 2023.2212.23. Somehow I hit cancel when I thought I was hitting something else. I am supposed to do a JAWS repair & the only way is to download my exact version. I cannot find it on the FS site anywhere. Help

@Bruce_Toews This is a beautiful example of why having choices is so awesome! I love Microsoft Edge; I still miss the download complete sound I was able to have in Internet Explorer, but other than that, Edge works great for my needs. Glad you got Chrome working, though.

@tweeting_frog In my experience, the weather people are wrong more often than not. I actually remember about 15 years ago when we had a major winter storm, and they were bragging about how they were right. Best way to know the weather, IMO, is to go outside. *smile* Enjoy your sunny afternoon!

@LiamErven I will say I have noticed a lot more interaction with others there, like people will more easily comment or offer thoughts if asked for them, like say you ask what people think of insert topic here, interaction is a lot better. But as in all things your mileage may vary.

As someone who does a lot of work both on and off YouTube as well as speaking engagements, I realize my voice is readily available to clone. I do not authorize the usage of my voice unless I am the one who is actually using it. Thanks.

Before now, I had never had trouble looking at my subscriptions. I went to cancel pureflix only to find that none of my subscriptions are showing up anywhere. I made sure the wifi was connected, since that seems to be a problem here most of the time. Any suggestions?
