Yoshimitsu is dead. There is no longer any reason to play yoshimitsu. Even when he was nerfed in Season 2, I did research and hard training to try and salvage the character, but I no longer see a future.

i think the devs deserve some love after a patch like that .. dont listen to pro players whining about stuff that you would never know without them ok ? their standards of measuring is far from the majority of players active … 3.00.02 is a good patch ! let them know

@BlackoutzUlt @trezizy i completely understand that.. guess its js normal. tmm said “honeymoon phase is over” and phidx said “s2 was outrage s3 is melancholy” i think that sums it up quite good.. were all emotional over a game. detaching is important..the less you care the more fun it becomes trust🫶

@mitsumitsu_tk @trezizy That's possible but they weren't like that before harada left so idk. But I get being tired of negativity, it is hard to be positive when every time we take a step in the right direction they seem to take 3 steps backwards again. This patch overall is good tho.

you know… i was a casual my whole life until tekken 8. played every game from T5 and even 3 and 2 never in my life did it occur to me to switch characters because they were weak. i always had a few side piece characters but once a yoshi main, always a yoshi main NO MATTER WHAT

@mitsumitsu_tk @trezizy If the dev team weren't radio silence entirely for over 8 months it maybe wouldn't be that bad. I've genuinely never seen such a silent team for a competitive game like this before. No pr, no communication, nothing. It's disappointing for the longevity of the franchise.

@mitsumitsu_tk @trezizy At the end of the day I'm prolly gonna either play it less or not play it at all tbh bc I dislike the dev team spitting in our face, having 0 communication, then at events act like shit sweet when the game has been in a terrible state for so long.

When I look back at everything since Tekken 8 launched, I do think pro players’ opinions carry a certain level of credibility, but that doesn’t mean all of their views should automatically be accepted by everyone. I think that is probably one of the hardest things for BNE to manage as well. After all, this game has far more casual players than pro players. That’s why I think keeping that balance in the middle is what makes balance patches so difficult. In reality, there probably is no such thing as a balance patch that satisfies everyone. Still, I believe the developers have to keep striving for that if they want this to become an even better fighting game, especially because they’ve been developing this series for 30 years. So what I really want to say is that topics like “Top 5” are fun to talk about, but that doesn’t mean those opinions should automatically be taken as fact. That’s why I don’t really talk about those kinds of topics anymore. I think once a patch comes out, it’s more positive to focus on how to adapt and break through it. If you approach this game negatively, there are just way too many things in it that can become stressful.
