How have rural villages suddenly become dangerous.

Scenes from Northern France as more make the journey to the French northern coast to get over to the UK. Over 900 have arrived in the UK in the last 3 days with hundreds arriving daily to the migrant camps. Why isn’t this being stopped?

I have refrained from talking about Henry Nowak so far because I was too angry. I remain too angry. I'm angry at the scumbag who stabbed an 18-year-old boy to death. Who drove a blade into the back of his legs to stop him from running, then finished him by skewering him through the chest with an 8-inch blade. All while that poor boy tried desperately to escape. I'm angry that the same scumbag then cried "racism" to cover his tracks, claiming self-defence after pursuing and butchering an innocent boy who just wanted to get home. I'm angry at the parents who tried to hide the murder weapon and shield their killer son from justice, putting blood loyalty above any sense of right and wrong. I'm angry at the police who handcuffed a bleeding teenager while he cried "I'm dying" and "I can't breathe," and let him bleed out in the street. All because his attacker cried racism. I'm angry at the judge who has introduced manslaughter as an alternative verdict before the jury even had a chance to decide. Robbing Henry's family of the proper verdict on what was clearly cold-blooded murder. I'm angry at a nation that grants religious exemptions so minorities can carry deadly blades in public while locking up natives for far less. A nation that has opened the floodgates to migrants who want us dead and now watches its own young bleed out in the name of "diversity." I'm angry that we've allowed it to happen. I'm angry.

Another incident that was completely avoidable. In a just world, the people responsible for allowing these scumbags in would be facing the same punishment as they will.

@ABell2019 @mybizonly74 @BasilTheGreat Two-tier justice is a pervasive sickness; the whole system needs reworking. Miscarriages of justice will keep on happening whilst the entire system is in disarray. It's outrageous.

This is not a new problem. There are some variations on Irish judges in the last century discharging defendants with words such as "you leave this court with no stain on your character, other than that of being acquitted by a Killarney jury." But juries are a valuable corrective to the tendency of judges occasionally to err on the side of the prosecution.

I hope he gets the maximum sentence & gets deported on release. There is no deterrent to crime (unless you're right-wing & white) that should concern us all

Yes of course you would have been likely to provide that as an alternative verdict. Juries really need a lot of convincing that someone intended to kill when their lawyer is certainly going to argue convincingly, among other things, that they just intended to wound. The manslaughter charge is the safety net. Can one argue that this makes it too easy for the jury to find guilty on the lesser charge and avoid the difficult decision on murder? Certainly. But would it be better for the murder charge not to stick and a perpetrator go free? I am all for criticizing judges when they are excessively lenient in their sentencing, but we must defend them from ignorant criticism when they're just doing their job. That's fair I think.

@mybizonly74 @ABell2019 @BasilTheGreat Let's hope he gets handed the maximum sentence and then deported. Juries shouldn't be diverse; a jury's make-up should be selected from indigenous Brits only. Sadly, common sense will not prevail in 2026.

Also, they claimed they'd massively reduced the asylum claim backlog. What they don't mention is that they approved 65% of claims. Portugal approved only 4%.
