I want to thank Sam Cooper -@scoopercooper and The Bureau for their important reporting on the growing crisis of transnational organized crime, extortion networks, and gun violence affecting communities across Canada, including British Columbia. Sam accurately highlighted my clear plan to combat money laundering. It is the engine driving drug trafficking, fentanyl deaths, gang violence and extortion in our province. As Premier, I will immediately appoint an Independent Officer of Anti-Money Laundering and demand strong action from Ottawa.
