@rebecca_decker Turned 50 in June, on a Norwegian fjord solo trip. It was the best thing ever. The last 10 years have been so hard for a million reasons but I'm happily in my "fuck it fifties" stage now, even with the horrors of menopause 😂

tbh as much as I hear me and my friends complain about aging into our 30s I’m very afraid to turn 50 lol

@rebecca_decker I don't but that's because I love my office and all my plants! They look so pretty it makes me (and apparently several colleagues!) happy. 🪴🪴 Plus it looks weird to see blurry stuff. I talk with my hands a lot!

do you blur your background on zoom / teams calls? i hate the way it looks. is it to like hide whats behind you or like not have distractions with what's behind you?

@rebecca_decker Worked 12 hours yesterday so I could leave for my week off and have things done (enough). Was sweating at the end there 😂 Now I'm at JFK on way to Norway!!! Hope you can leave work and have some peace!!

I need a "about to be on PTO" burst of energy to finish the tasks I need to finish before said PTO but all I can do is online shop and procrastinate

Left at 4:30 PM for a 7 PM show in Toronto. Traffic on the QEW and Gardiner has us missing two openers and getting dangerously close to missing part of the headliner’s set. At this point I’m considering sending the Ontario Ministry of Transportation a bill for half my ticket.

@DocWithBowtie For quick trips we started parking at the Go Train in Burlington and take that in. Traffic has gotten absolutely nuts.

@rebecca_decker 2.5 weeks for us, down to studs. Kept tub and replaced everything else. Nothing moved. Old house with random problems found! Showered at neighbor's or my dad's. We had a half bath at least so that helped! It was a pain but now it's so pretty 💜

What do we think about sneakers with dresses? Going to @AHCJ next month in fancy schmancy New York, but my plantar fasciitis is still bothering me.
