@gtconway3d We are now using still cameras that can go as fast as 120 frames per second. This sort of picture is pretty common now.

@ErinBurnett An hour long show at the site + story about my picture and you all walked right by me while you were doing your interview with the guy with the dogs. That happens. There’s no way you could know that I shot it. But a byline would’ve been nice. Thanks for using it anyway.

@harpshappening Staged? Do you think someone anticipated that I would be flying by in a helicopter and placed a blue VW there just for me?

@gtconway3d I’m sure that Sigmund Freud would tell you that the 72nd floor parking garage is about your longing for a place to park in Manhattan, the horse and trailer is about sex and the Corvette is about your midlife crisis. 😉

So I had a dream last night. Not a bad dream; as far as dreams go, a moderately interesting one with a number of curious twists and turns, as dreams are wont to have. And I got to the part you get to sometimes in dreams where the logical part of your brain says, in effect, “you know, this doesn’t quite add up, so this is probably a dream,” and your brain has a little conversation with itself about whether it’s in fact having a dream. In this particular case, my logic neurons mildly objected to my imagining I was in a 72-story mixed-use Manhattan building where the parking garage was on the 71st and 72nd floors. (Also, inside the garage was a horse in a horse trailer hitched to a C7 Corvette, and the horse was trying to talk, but I digress.) Anyway, at any “am I dreaming?” point of any dream, you can go different ways. For example, you may say, oh yeah, this is a dream, and you may actually wake up to confirm to yourself that, yes, that was a dream. Or you may realize it’s a dream and “wake up”—into another dream. Or your brain may say, yep, this is a dream, but it’s kind of interesting, so let’s see how it goes. Or a new twist in the dream may occur, and you may never finish the internal conversation about whether you were having a dream. But last night something slightly different happened in my dream. When I wondered anyone would put a parking garage on the 72nd floor, my brain came back with, “Dude, is that any weirder than what’s been going on in this country for the last eight years?” To which the other neurons conceded, quite logically, “you have a point there.” And so I went on to finish the dream. 🤣

@gtconway3d @molly_knight Can’t win them all. I suspect that there’s a lot of fatigue from a weeks worth of heat wave. Sunday was the hottest game ever played at Dodger Stadium at 103.
