So it turns out that all of the billionaires in crypto weren’t running a pysop looking for exit liquidity, and actually were all just max leveraged long. You couldn’t make this stuff up.

So the Terra people will make fun of DAI for being backed by a centralized stablecoin (USDC) and then say that UST is "actually decentralized" even though it requires billionaires to step in during bank runs to keep the peg Seems legit

Web3 offers an opportunity to rebuild the entire internet. To align it with the values of its users, rather than to extract. Many have lost sight of this in pursuit of cheap fees and a quick buck. To forget these values is to neglect what made crypto so promising to begin with.

@santiagoroel Can the sensation of an interpersonal connection be fully replicated without 'it' having consciousness? Doesn't seem like there's an answer to that right now, but I doubt it.

3/ It’s hard to define what is consciousness. AI promises to help us understand that. Not sure we’ll ever be able to define it. But if we can create an avatar that replicates the sensation for others of being with us, then that’s when you know because that’s all that matters imo

1/ Have we reached immortality if we create an avatar that thinks, moves & reacts like us? Your avatar lives forever. Imagine a super immersive metaverse experience w/ haptic feedback. IMO not crazy to think our brain can be immortalized. Does that give the avatar consciousness?
