@NicwithoutaK83 @mattFarris Yes, Cindy is one of those characters who doesn’t really do the mundane. She needs to be at the centre of an affair or something.
English

@mkenn80 @mattFarris They should have had her do a Janine and leave after her last scandal. Then come back after resting the character for a bit
English

They've really dropped the ball with Cindy and Max. Really not sure why Cindy's even on the show any more. #EastEnders

English

@NicwithoutaK83 I thought that was so poorly thought through. She literally sleeps in the same bed every night.
English

Are we supposed to believe that was the first time in recent weeks that Priya has seen Ravi with his top off? #Eastenders

Lorraine Bayly’s turn as Faye on #Neighbours was brief but busy. Dressed in technicolor, she doted on Dougie, dissed Pam at every turn and burnt down Gaby’s boutique. Her parting line was👌- to the cab driver who said Ramsay St looked like any other street: “What would you know?”

English

@NicwithoutaK83 It is the best TV show that nobody seems to be watching. But it’s on Season 5 and has a spin-off cooking too. 🙌
English

This looks like the plot of Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans just without mechas

@RamsaySt9571 @mark_moo @neighbours Would you consider going back to the start? 1985 - 1991 is all up on YouTube.
English

@mark_moo @mkenn80 @neighbours I was going to watch some of the old eps on Amazon to fill the gap, but genuinely can’t bring myself to start, like where from 2012-2022? 2022 was probably the best of the bunch.
This morning though I ended up watching part of a 2019 episode and was sucked in by Paul’s exs.
English

@briansteed40 Jason needs a break… why is everything dependent on one producer? The show ran for 40 years - it’s bigger than one person
And saying this as someone who isn’t looking for a return!
English

@kyletindale @mark_moo @neighbours I keep meaning to get back into the classic episodes on YT. I watched all of 1985 and started on 1986. Maybe this is the reminder I need!
English

@mark_moo @neighbours That’s a better way of putting it… the promise of what it could have been… 😕
English

@mkenn80 @neighbours Well, I don’t miss what it became but definitely miss what it could have been.
English

@MrDavid_885 I don’t think they’re worthy of the iconic beach house - home to legends like Bobby, Marilyn, Irene - and Chris Hemsworth!
English

@JoeJulians @LikeATattoooooo Have been feeling this with Eastenders lately. It’s the Neighbours approach happening all over again. EE has always been good at tapping into its history but it’s getting silly now.
English

@LikeATattoooooo I'd rather they were given something to do than just show up, wave and go. Plus Neighbours had a habit of changing characters behaviours, history or pandering to the past. Hope EE doesn't go down that route.
English

A mistake Neighbours made. Some old faces show up and everyone loves it, before you know it they were trying to get virtually every living actor who has ever stepped foot on set back (slight exaggeration)

I feel like EastEnders is stuck in a rut of returning characters, ever since the 40th anniversary year, and I'm bored of it tbh. It's too heavily reliant on people who have watched for years, and I would imagine it's not attracting new fans.Write for the characters you have
English

@JoeJulians Why do they keep releasing Scream movies at times of the year that aren’t Halloween?
English

Three weeks to go!!

New poster for ‘SCREAM 7’ In theaters on February 27.
English

@judyjanine @WelshNeighbours Definitely a trend in the New Chapter to make us turn on beloved characters. Toadie and Mel suffered the same fate.
English

@soap_zombie I hated that silly line from Karl about Charlene being an important name on the Street. She lived there for two years and moved out 7 years before the Kennedys even heard of Ramsay St.
English

I loved the construction of this scene. Chloe shifting uncomfortably on the spot, up until Nicolette starts to address her directly and everyone else fades out, leaving just the two of them. The tension in Chloe’s face softening as Nic speaks from the heart. FMEL. #Chlic

#OnThisDay in 2021, a garden baby shower for Nicolette stirs up emotions for her and Chloe. Episode 8661 of #Neighbours written by Rene Zandveld.
English

@WelshNeighbours I’d agree with that. When she first arrived, she was ok. But in her final few years, she was truly awful. There was a nasty streak about the character, a bitterness and, like you say, she was so repetitive and predictable in every scene. Was v. happy to see her abruptly disappear
English

@mkenn80 I started watching again around 2017 and by around 2019/20 I found Sheila a bit much and repetitive. Think the character lost her way. But I’ve really enjoyed watching earlier Sheila around 2013-16.

Name a worse character than Gary
