The Web3 space moves fast, but attackers move faster. ⚡️
In Web2, a bug means a patch. In Web3, a single logic flaw = millions permanently drained. 😱
Join me this Wednesday for a hands-on Smart Contract Exploits Masterclass.

who else is shipping solo and sharing the journey?
looking to connect with founders who:
→ build in public
→ understand the grind
→ ship despite the noise
→ learn by doing
drop a comment if that's you 👇
Nobody tells Web3 builders this when they start.
I wish someone had told me earlier.
Here it is:
> Your first project will be terrible.
Ship it anyway.
The builders who made it didn't have
better projects than you.
They just shipped before they were ready.
> Nobody discovers you in silence.
Build in public.
Tweet your progress.
Push to GitHub.
Document everything.
Visibility is a skill.
Start treating it like one.
> Hackathons are not about winning.
The prize money is nice.
But the real win is:
- the teammates you meet
- the protocol teams watching
- the feedback on your idea
- the GitHub commit that proves you ship
First place means nothing if you
never talk to anyone there.
> Discord is where careers are made.
Not LinkedIn. Not job boards.
The builders getting hired right now
got noticed in Telegram groups,
Discord servers, and GitHub comments
before anyone knew their name.
Show up. Be helpful. Be consistent.
> You don't need permission to contribute.
Find a repo. Fix a bug.
Improve documentation. Open a PR.
That one merged pull request does more
for your career than 6 months of tutorials.
> Grants exist for exactly where you are right now.
Not just for funded teams.
Not just for experienced builders.
For developers with one idea
and the willingness to try.
Most go unclaimed because nobody applies.
Apply anyway.
> The quiet months are part of it.
Every builder you admire had 12 months
where nothing was happening.
No replies. No traction. No opportunities.
They just refused to disappear.
> Web3 is still embarrassingly early.
The infrastructure being built right now
will be used by billions of people
who haven't heard of blockchain yet.
The developer grinding through 2026
becomes the protocol lead of 2028.
But only if they don't quit now.
You are not behind.
You are not too late.
You are not under qualified.
You are just missing information.
And that's the easiest problem to fix.
Keep building.
To every Web3 builder grinding right now
This is for you.
You're learning Solidity at midnight
while your friends are watching Netflix.
You're submitting hackathon projects
that don't place anywhere.
You're applying to grants that take weeks to respond.
Sometimes they don't respond at all.
You're building in public with 200 followers while others with half your skill seem to be getting all the opportunities.
And some days you genuinely wonder is this even worth it?
I want to tell you something nobody says
out loud in this industry:
The people you admire in Web3 right now the ones with the protocol job, the grants, the ecosystem roles...
Most of them had 12–18 months
where nothing was happening.
No replies. No opportunities. No traction.
They just kept showing up anyway.
Here's what I've learned watching builders
succeed and fail in this space:
The ones who made it didn't have
better skills than the ones who didn't.
They just refused to disappear
during the quiet months.
Web3 is still early.
Embarrassingly early.
The infrastructure being built right now
will be used by billions of people
who haven't heard of blockchain yet.
The developer who grinds through 2026
when the market is uncertain.
That developer becomes the
senior engineer, the protocol lead,
the ecosystem architect
that every team is desperate to hire in 2028.
But only if they don't quit now.
So if you're in the quiet months right now.
Keep building.
Keep shipping.
Keep showing up.
The compounding hasn't shown up yet.
But it will.
And when it does
it will feel like it happened overnight.
It never happens overnight.
It happens because of exactly
what you're doing right now.
Don't stop.
♻️ Repost this for a builder who needs to hear it today.
You can try it right now: cargo install oxirast-cli oxirast-cli init my_app oxirast-cli
I'm putting together a full demo video explaining the architecture. Drop a follow if you want to see it! 🚀 #Rust#WebAssembly#100DaysOfCode
Why use it? • rsx! macro for clean, HTML-like syntax. • Signal based reactivity (updates the exact DOM node instantly, zero diffing overhead). • Built-in SPA Router. • oxirast-cli for zero-config scaffolding and hot-reloading.

@Newtalics Random reminder since I work with online platforms a lot , it’s worth regularly auditing which services have saved your credit card details. A lot of people forget how many apps still have access

🧭 Market Overview
Broad risk came off this week with most sectors trading lower, while selective narratives showed relative strength.
Sentiment remains deeply suppressed — a backdrop that historically precedes volatility expansions (in either direction).
🔥 Sector Performance (7D)
• DeFAI: +3.70%
• Perpetuals: -4.14%
• Protocols: -6.85%
• Infrastructure: -7.55%
• AI Agents: -8.31%
DeFAI standing alone in positive territory signals targeted rotation rather than broad risk appetite.
📉 Market Indicators
• 😨 Fear & Greed Index: 7 — Extreme Fear
• 🟠 Altcoin Season Index: 24 / 100
→ Bitcoin dominance remains firmly in control
🧠 Narrative & Implications
• Risk continues to compress across infra + agent layers
• Perps cooling suggests leverage reduction
• Capital staying selective, not exiting entirely
• BTC acting as the market’s volatility anchor
Extreme fear readings at 7 reflect heavy defensive positioning — but also reduce marginal sellers over time.
🧭 Takeaway
This isn’t broad capitulation — it’s rotation under pressure.
Watch for:
• Sentiment mean reversion
• BTC dominance shifts
• Whether DeFAI strength sustains or fades
Positioning remains cautious… but structurally attentive. 👀
Amazon: The $50B Kingmaker 🛒☁️
Amazon ($AMZN) isn’t just selling picks and shovels in the AI gold rush anymore…
It’s funding the whole mine. ⛏️🤖
CEO Andy Jassy just dropped the number:
$200 BILLION in CapEx planned for 2026.
Yes… billion. With a “B.” 💸
With Google guiding ~$180B the day before, Amazon basically said:
“Hold my Prime delivery.” 📦
🧠 Why Amazon Can Spend Like This
Unlike peers, Amazon doesn’t burn cash on:
• Stock buybacks ❌
• Dividends ❌
Every dollar gets recycled into future growth.
And they’ve got the fuel:
• ~$140B operating cash flow (2025)
• Fortress balance sheet 🏦
Funding AI dominance? Not a problem.
Still… the scale is staggering.
Markets are excited long-term — nervous short-term ⏳
👀 The $50B OpenAI Bombshell
Here’s where it gets wild:
Reports say Jassy is in talks to lead a $50B investment in OpenAI.
If true:
• Largest private tech investment ever 🏆
• Half of OpenAI’s $100B round
• At an ~$830B valuation
Translation?
Microsoft × OpenAI exclusivity = officially over. 💔
🎯 Strategic Logic (The Two-fer)
1️⃣ Guaranteed AWS boost
OpenAI’s compute hunger = legendary.
Amazon funds them → workloads migrate to AWS → infra revenue explodes ☁️📈
Helps fill the massive $38B infra deal signed in 2025.
2️⃣ Arming Gemini’s biggest rival
If AGI is the endgame…
Amazon can’t let Google run unchallenged.
So Jassy funds OpenAI’s models and runs them on Amazon silicon.
He’s backing the race while selling the fuel. 🏎️⚡
📊 Q4 FY25 Snapshot
Revenue: $213.4B (+14% YoY)
EPS: $1.95 (slight miss)
Gross margin: 48%
Operating margin: 12%
Revenue Mix 🧩
• 💻 Online stores — 39% (+10%)
• 🏪 Physical — 3% (+5%)
• 🧾 3P seller services — 25% (+11%)
• 📢 Advertising — 10% (+23%)
• 📱 Subscriptions — 6% (+14%)
• ☁️ AWS — 17% (+24%)
AWS still the crown jewel 👑
☁️ AWS Hits The Gas
• +24% YoY growth
• Fastest in 3+ years
• $142B annual run rate
Still behind Azure & GCP growth rates…
…but from a MUCH bigger base.
🧠 Custom AI Chips Printing Money
Graviton + Trainium = $10B+ revenue run rate.
Triple-digit growth as customers look for NVIDIA alternatives.
Cheaper compute = stickier ecosystem 🧲
📦 Retail Gets Ruthless
Efficiency mode: ON.
Amazon is shutting down:
• Amazon Fresh stores
• Amazon Go locations
• Amazon One palm payments
72 stores gone.
If it doesn’t scale massively → it gets cut.
All to fund the AI war chest. ⚔️
📢 Ads = Margin Machine
Ad revenue:
• +23% growth
• ~$21B this quarter
Prime Video ads + seller marketing = profit engine.
Quietly one of Amazon’s highest-margin businesses.
🛰️ Project Kuiper → “Amazon Leo”
Satellite internet is getting a glow-up.
Rebranded → Amazon Leo ✨
Goal:
Enterprise + government connectivity tied directly into AWS.
Think:
A private space internet lane for data. 🛰️🔒
But…
Launch bottlenecks = risk.
Only ~180 satellites in orbit so far.
🧠 AI Everywhere
Healthcare 🏥
One Medical AI assistant:
• Manages meds
• Explains lab results
• Books appointments
Healthcare meets Prime ecosystem.
Advertising 🤖
Unified ad stack launched.
New AI “Ads Agent” lets marketers query performance in plain English.
Data science… without the data scientist.
Shopping Agents 🛍️
Rufus AI shopping assistant:
• Researches products
• Tracks prices
• Auto-buys deals
Customers using Rufus are 60% more likely to purchase.
That’s conversion rocket fuel 🚀
🧾 Project Dawn Layoffs
Restructuring rolling on:
• 30,000 corporate roles cut
• ~10% workforce reduction
Goal?
Flatten management layers + boost AI efficiency.
Startup culture… at mega-corp scale.
📊 Guidance Check
Q1 FY26:
• Revenue: ~$176B (+13%)
• Operating income: ~$19B (light vs expectations)
Headwind?
~$1B cost from Leo satellite ramp.
Space isn’t cheap. 🌌
🏗️ The Bigger Picture
Cloud infra spending:
• +30% YoY
• $119B quarterly market
Market share:
• AWS — 28% 🥇
• Azure — 21%
• Google — 14%
Margins dipped slightly (AI spend) but expected to normalize over time.
🔥 The Real Story
Big Tech isn’t hoarding cash anymore.
They’re redeploying ALL of it into AI.
Microsoft: ~$73B CapEx (6 months)
Google: ~$180B guide
Amazon: $200B planned
This is infra warfare. 🏗️⚡
🧭 Final Take
Amazon’s strategy is pure “Day 1”:
No buybacks.
No dividends.
All-in on the future.
Funding models.
Funding compute.
Funding satellites.
Funding AGI rivals.
No one is spending more aggressively right now.
$200B on the table.
Massive risk.
Massive moat.
Massive upside.
Even for Amazon…
Things might be getting a little hot. 🔥
