@linterpio @Auggystyle1 @Matt_Pinner It’s not about my way or the highway, but the US and Europe have fundamental, profound differences, and thus, prescriptions that work in Europe may not be effective in the US and vice versa. We have different demographics and higher volumes of violent criminals.

@MoArsenal86 I am one of Arteta’s biggest supporters, but him never playing Calafiori at CB drives me nuts. Every time he or Kiwior plays there, the ball moves so much faster, and we’re way harder to play against. It’s not that big of a drop off defensively either.

Part of having a versatile squad is to have tactical answers. City clearly targeted Gabriel in buildup - so bring on Calafiori to bypass their 4-man block. Lacking technical security? Bring on MLS and Dowman - receiving on the half turn, driving, dribbling - everything we lacked.

@raptorAFC City’s entire strategy was clog the midfield and make us play long to Gyokores. It worked because he couldn’t win a duel or hold the ball up. Again, at least Havertz threatened the goal once.

@olhabc @Gunneruni @FootballEra_ Partey had multiple stinkers in big games the last two years and was almost unavailable when we needed him most. Sure, he was excellent on his day, but he’s regressed and had to go. He’s been horrible at Villarreal this year.
