0 to 7,800 organic visits in 30 days.
What actually moved it:
3 cornerstone blog posts around low-competition, high-intent keywords
Daily LinkedIn and X posts with one clear message
2 HN comments in relevant threads, with no direct promo
One mention in a niche newsletter
No ads. No team. No agency.
Just a focused 30-day Flywheel run. mktflywheel.ai

The fastest organic win most solo founders ignore is commenting, not just posting. Find the threads where your exact customer is already complaining about the problem you solve, and leave a genuinely useful reply with no pitch attached. Early helpful replies on bigger accounts put your profile in front of the right people for free.
On SEO, stop chasing the big obvious keywords. They're a bloodbath. The narrow ones your competitors ignore are where you actually win. "Marketing for [specific niche]" is winnable in weeks. The head term takes years you don't have.
And you don't need fresh content for every channel. One idea is an X post, a thread, a LinkedIn post, and a blog section. Make it once, reshape it four times. Most solo founders burn out trying to invent something new daily when the same insight just lands differently in each format.
Last one, GEO, because it's the opportunity hiding in plain sight: AI search engines now quote websites directly in their answers. Structure your pages so they can. Clear FAQ blocks, plain answers, claims with real numbers. Most sites are still writing for crawlers from a decade ago.

Would absolutely play it. "Throw rat friend at them" is doing more marketing work than you're giving it credit for, that's a line people repeat unprompted.
And yeah, marketing's the part nobody warns indie devs about. The game's the hard skill. Getting eyes on it shouldn't eat your dev time too. That's the exact problem we're building Flywheel for, an AI marketing team that runs the distribution while you keep shipping. Early access is open if you want in: mktflywheel.com
Either way, wishlisting on the rat alone.

We built Flywheel because we were tired of the same loop: pay for tools, manage the tools, report on the tools, still not grow.
One URL. An AI CMO builds your 30-day growth plan in hours. Four specialists run content, social, SEO, and growth while you sleep. 10-minute daily review in Slack.

@Ivan_writes_0x That's exactly it. Once you start listening for the questions instead of the keywords, the ideas don't stop. Where are you finding the most signal outside Reddit?

This Reddit stuff has been so real, and I've found a ton of other things to write or talk about on different platforms

Reddit seeding, done right. Find threads where your exact customer is already asking the question your product answers. Answer it genuinely — no link, no pitch. Build 2–3 comments over a week. Then, in a new thread you start, mention what you built. That sequence works. Posting a link in someone else's thread doesn't.

Cold email to customers of direct competitors. Look at App Store reviews, G2, Capterra.
Find people who mentioned specific frustrations. Write one email that acknowledges the exact thing they complained about and explains what you do differently.
5% reply rate on a targeted list of 200 is 10 conversations.

Heyy Priyanka -
Building Flywheel — an AI marketing team for indie founders and solopreneurs.
You submit your URL once. It scans your product, builds a strategy, and starts executing across SEO, content, and social. Daily briefing, Slack-native, no expertise needed.
mktflywheel.ai — would love eyes on it.

@billgnofficial Most tools give you more to do. This one just does it.

@FarazKhan724 Distribution, still...
Tools have made building faster. Finding the right users consistently- that's still a hard part for most solo founders.

@1Umairshaikh B2B SaaS with AI agents running the ops underneath.
The product is SaaS. The moat is the agent layer doing the work humans used to bill hours for. That's the combo that's actually hard to replicate.

@aryanlabde Claude for coding, v0 for UI, Perplexity for research when I need sources fast.
And one I don't talk about much... an AI marketing team that runs SEO, content, and social while I'm heads down building. Basically grows the audience without me thinking about it.
