Ngayong buwan ng mga puso, salat sa pag-ibig ang masang patuloy na binabalewala ng estadong takot sa pagbabago. Repleksyon ng walang habas na pangmamaltrato ng gobyerno ang mga gawa-gawang kaso laban sa kabataan at mga progresibong grupo, na lalo pang pinalalala ng malawakang militarisasyon sa lipunang karapatan lamang ang sandigan. Bitbit ang bigat sa dibdib, kinokondena ng mga Manileño ang patuloy na panghihimasok ng mga bayarang elemento. Gayundin ang nararanasan ng mga magsasaka sa Nueva Ecija bunsod ng lumalalang komersyalisasyon sa kanayunan. Sa kaibuturan ng tunay na pakikipag-ugnayan, makikita ang pagpupunyagi tungo sa mas inklusibong pakikibahagi gamit ang wika at teknolohiya. Kasabay nito, ipinapanawagan ng publikasyon ang mas makataong pagtanaw at pagtrato sa usaping pangkalusugan, lalo na sa gitna ng tumataas na kaso ng adiksyon at bisyo sa bansa.
