My first published book & a collaboration with a Canadian legend. Two dreams come true in one. This is for all the kids like me who didn’t see themselves represented in their libraries - and this is for all the allies. For the friends named Zach, Raj, or Melissa. There’s far too many people to thank, but I’d like to start with @EricRWalters for believing in me and my ability to write. I can’t even begin to express the honor it is, to not only work with you, but to have become such good friends, and learn about each others faith through writing this. In June, we commemorate Indigenous Peoples Month (National Indigenous History Month) to recognize the heritage and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. As we look at the history, we must work towards reconciliation through peaceful and respectful relationships.

During Pride Month, we recognize and celebrate Two Spirit & LGBTQIA+ contributions and identities, and the allies who stand in solidarity. It's also a time of action; a time to raise awareness about the hate and violence toward Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ people and communities.

Earlier this week, elementary and secondary students with intellectual and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities participated in HWDSB’s Access Athletics! Taking place during National Accessibility Week, the event is designed to support access to athletics for all students.
