Sources: Former #Ravens QBs coach Tee Martin is being hired by Lane Kiffin as an offensive analyst at LSU. Martin, who has been in Baltimore since 2021, now returns to the college ranks and reunites with Kiffin, who hired him at USC back in 2012.

Seeing a few “journalists” defending Mater Dei’s playoff placement is wild while the rest of the SoCal basketball world clearly isn’t buying it. If Mater Dei is truly a Division 2 team, they shouldn’t be beating D2 opponents by 20–30 in consecutive playoff games!

But compared to @jflare_ in HS isn’t an argument, we need to be real about this. 03-04 D3 to 13-14 baseball D-1, Nah!

@chriscfore 0-12 in a season of 600 at bats... It’s one bad play in a football season. It’s hard for non baseball people to conceptualize the amount of failure baseball players endure, even the greatest of players. Padre fans should be better at it than most.

I don't totally understand why managers don't move their lineup around more. Manny is 0-12 this series. Put him lower in the lineup for a bit. Mix it up. Baseball coaches - why is it bad to do this?

I wish we could have a D1 semifinal doubleheader like the old days. Instead on Tuesday it’s Corona at St. John Bosco and Crespi at Santa Margarita. Seating will be tight.

BASEBALL: Official auto-qualifier number for the playoffs is 248, according to the Southern Section office. 248 divided by the nine divisions is 27.5. My guess is there will be 27 AQ spots for D1-D4 and 28 for D5-D9. That gives 248.
