🚨 Cops Try to Railroad Sober Woman into a DUI Manslaughter Charge. Motorcyclist that collided with her was the drunk one with over 50 traffic infractions. Prosecutor refused to charge her and the PD kept defamatory posts up about her for months. She sued the cop & PD and won.

This is a prime example of minding your own damn business. It's well known that pros hand out wheels, trucks and boards to kids at skateparks, and they are always happy to receive gifts like that. This Karen is seething and she doesn't even know why.

NEW: Hurst police release full bodycam after viral edited video sparks excessive force claims in school zone stop Hurst officers pulled over Taneisha Thompson for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph school zone. She claims a black eye, busted lip needing stitches and other injuries; her attorney alleges racial profiling after her edited viral video was released. Under UK law -- specifically the Public Order Act 1986 -- affray is a serious public order offence that kicks in when someone uses or threatens unlawful violence in a way that would make an ordinary person feel unsafe. The law doesn’t rely on whether anyone actually panicked in the moment; instead, it looks at whether a hypothetical “person of reasonable firmness” would’ve been afraid for their safety if they’d been there. The violence (or threat of it) has to go beyond just words -- there needs to be some kind of physical element, like aggressive movement, brandishing a weapon, or behaviour that clearly signals things could turn violent. Affray can happen pretty much anywhere too, whether that’s out in public or on private property, and while it often involves groups, a single person acting in a threatening enough way can still meet the threshold. What really sets affray apart from lesser offences is that it’s not about heated arguments or insults -- words alone won’t cut it. The courts focus on the overall impact of the behaviour and whether it crosses that line into something genuinely intimidating or dangerous. That “reasonable firmness” standard is key here, because it keeps the test objective instead of relying on how any one person might react. If the conduct is serious enough, the consequences can be heavy -- affray is treated as a major offence and can lead to prison time, depending on how severe the situation is.

@but_cyclists For more context, two men were arrested. One for dangerous driving and affray (whatever that is), and the other for grievous bodily harm and taking a vehicle without consent. I'm guessing they were known to each other.
