I think Dana Brown deserves some credit for the trade he made last offseason. The Cubs got 1 year of Kyle Tucker (who did help them get back to the playoffs) for Cam Smith - who is still a future star per pretty much everyone’s evaluation, 3 years of Isaac Paredes & 5 years of a solid pitcher in Hayden Wesneski. The Astros may also be able to flip Paredes for something given their current roster structure.
