Whenever we hold events, one statement is consistently made; “𝙍𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡.” We had more people sign up for our Wiffleball Derby than some cities have attendees for events. Throughout the day, craftsmen, teachers, small biz owners, accountants, designers, physicians, coaches all talking baseball. There is an authentic feel with the Triangle. People are ready to root on a local MLB team. The pieces are falling in place to put #RaleighOnDeck

@MLBRaleigh I remember when it was easy and not too expensive to see a Canes game. Now I'd rather go to a Gargoyles game. Maybe we could use a MLB team but it will never be a better experience than a Bulls game for me and many. Major league sports are cynical money grabs

We’ve covered this from a number of different angles, even just THIS week. The Triangle has three, ultra competitive universities within 25 miles of each other. It’s the main reason everything we do is in Black and White colorways. If we picked red or a shade of blue, we’d literally lose followers. But when you add a pro team to this same area, it becomes a point of pride and passion. Sure winning helps, but the Canes and Bulls have become a collective “our team(s)” for all. North Carolina is passionate about sports. MLB has the chance to elevate the League by coming here to the State of Baseball. #RaleighOnDeck
