The same kid who mistimed that tackle is the one you once cheered for when he took his first steps. The same kid who missed the penalty is the one who couldn’t wait to see what the tooth fairy left. Out there, they’re learning how to be teammates. How to make mistakes. How to lose with grace and win with it too. They’re not professionals. They’re not paid to perform. Due to the pitches being very wet and also taking into consideration the day/overnight forecast, Central Venue, Penwortham Holme is OFF. Bamber Bridge (withy grove) and Euxton (Jim Fowler) are ON as normal. 👟⚽️🥅🚩

❄️⚽️ We have just been informed by Euxton villa FC that unfortunately the 3g pitch is frozen. All fixtures scheduled there are OFF. Unfortunately Bamber Bridge Leisure dont access their pitches till around 9am. However teams will be informed asap if off. 🤞⚽️👟🥅🚩

@mlcjfl Great that the games went ahead albeit freezing cold. However the car park & pathways were a death trap. I witnessed 2/3 kids slip over but also an elderly lady. No grit anywhere! Someone could have seriously hurt today!

We have just been informed that the 3g pitches at Euxton Villa are frozen So unfortunately all u7 & u8 fixtures at this venue are OFF. Also following a early pitch inspection Peni Holme pitches are now OFF. We are awaiting confirmation in regards to Bamber Bridge.

We unfortunately cant get access to the pitches till 8.30. When the centre open them up.
