The right question should have been: Bakit parang normal pa rin ang kilos ng gobyerno gayong may krisis tayong hinaharap at haharapin? Bakit politika ang mas inaatupag? Bakit hindi ang inflation, trapik, kakulangan sa tubig, suplay ng kuryente, at marami pang iba?

It is easy to make someone the villain when you make an incomplete story. Snoozing one of my go to news outlet since they will certainly side with their boss who actually made or pushed for a lot of business decisions that ultimately led to where they and the family are now.

You’ll know that there is an ongoing propaganda war when there’s an incessant barrage of related news. I wonder why some still support someone that led them to failure after failure without having any clear vision of how to get out of the problems they brought their people into.

Some people can be so naive to think corruption stopped at anytime in our history. No president has ever won a majority in the House. Each of them needed to coalesce or accept the butterflies and play along with the rotten but powerful ones so things can get moving.

I’m inclined to believe that the election has been rigged if he becomes a Senator. From whom will they shave votes? Certainly not Imee since she’s not in the winners circle. Maybe Villar? Or Pacquiao?

I’m at this stage where I won’t believe the threat unless one of those threatened dies. They probably still remember the assasination attempt to Imelda in the 1972. Also at the stage where I don’t care whatever happens to these officials. 😂

What we have, however dysfunctional, would take more than the political savvy of Ramos, the charisma of Erap, the intelligence of Gloria, the righteousness of PNoy, the political will of Duterte rolled into one to change it.

I think term limits for LGU Officials should be removed. Or at least lengthen the term of office to 6yrs with 2 re-elections. 18yrs for a reform minded person would do great wonders for our cities. Then somehow we won’t get a lousy wife, child of the mayor running in his place.
