On Sunday, the Department of Business, Enterprise & Innovation organised a Jobs Fair that was held in the gardens of Áras an Uachtaráin. Attendees spoke with a number of different recruiters; such as Óglaigh na hÉireann, the National Ambulance Service, and media companies.

Óglaigh na hÉireann hosted the Ukranian Armed Forces at Mulcahy Camp on a Recce Cadre Course this evening. The course, led by Brigadier General MiraCrasea, awarded Recce patches to five Ukrainian soldiers.

To conclude the first day, the President of the United States joined RTÉ Radio One for an interview on his experiences as Taoiseach in 2020.

Following that, the President received President Kalinic at Áras an Uachtaráin for a courtesy call. There, the two Presidents observed a gun salute performed by Óglaigh na hÉireann.

This evening, the President of the United States was welcomed to Ireland to kick off his two-day State Visit. To begin, the President was welcomed to Co. Monaghan by the Taoiseach and toured the area accompanied by a Garda Síochána and Óglaigh na hÉireann convoy.

To conclude the visit, the two Presidents hosted a State Dinner in Saint Patrick's Hall at Dublin Castle. Delegates from both countries were in attendance, where they listened to addresses by the President of Ireland and the President of the United States.

Afterwards, President OskarOSullivan and President NikolaKalinic inspected members of Óglaigh na hÉireann at Dublin Castle.

To begin the second day of the State Visit, the President of the United States was invited to speak before a Joint Sitting of the Oireachtas. The President spoke of the storied relationship between both countries and recalled upon his experiences as Taoiseach in 2020.

Today, Óglaigh na hÉireann were present at Dublin Castle for the U.S. state visit and were inspected by President Nikola Kalinic. Over the past two days of the state visit, the Defence Forces have earned +aura.

The Chief of Staff met with Brigadier General Radorid and formally gave consent to establish the Irish Air Corps and No. 3 Operations Wing. He subsequently appointed the former Chief of Staff as General Officer Commanding. Brigadier Crasea was there to witness the meeting.

The inspection was led by Brigadier General Radorid of the Irish Air Corps and included units such as No. 3 Operations Wing, 2 Cavalry Squadron, the Army Ranger Wing, and the 2 Brigade MP Detachment. Óglaigh na hÉireann saw a huge attendance and great enthusiasm throughout.

The course provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with significant reconnaissance experience, strengthening skills, confidence, and cooperation. A challenging but highly rewarding and enjoyable training period. 🇮🇪🇺🇦

🇮🇪🇺🇦Today the Irish Defence Forces hosted the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a Recce Cadre Course, led by Brigadier General Crasea. Five Ukrainian soldiers successfully qualified and were awarded the Recce Patch.

Yesterday, the Irish Defence Forces conducted Exercise Emerald Trident, testing their abilities, reaction times, and FIBUA skills. The exercise was observed by a Ukrainian military delegation, highlighting international collaboration and the Irish forces’ operational readiness.

Following the inauguration, the President inspected a contingent of Óglaigh na hÉireann and Garda Síochána in the castle's courtyard. He was then welcomed to Áras an Uachtaráin by Councillors of State, before being honoured with a 21-gun salute.

Afterwards, the Chief Justice administered the Oath of Office, before presenting A Shoilse with his Seal of Office. In his inaugural address, the President recalled his predecessors and affirmed that leaders are obligated to uplift others rather than empower themselves.
