The consequence of Korra breaking the connection to the past Avatars is that future Avatars lost access to centuries of accumulated combat techniques. If the chain had never been broken, every future Avatar after Aang would most likely have been able to lightning redirect almost instinctively once in the Avatar state. Because once an Avatar masters a technique, that knowledge becomes part of the collective experience of the Avatar Spirit. Aang learned lightning redirection directly from Iroh, who created it by studying waterbending principles. The next Avatars won’t have access to 1) Aang’s lightning redirection 2) Kyoshi’s glassbending and raw power 3) Roku’s mastery of firebending And thousands of years of battle experience. Now the cycle basically restarts from Korra onward. Future Avatars can still learn lightning redirection normally though .

There’s a room for Lee Yeon at IU’s house. IU also keeps pajamas and body lotion for Lee Yeon there. During Korean New Year (Seollal), IU even prepared tteokguk for Lee Yeon at her home, and they watched the broadcast of IU’s concert on MBC together. IU and Lee Yeon are planning to go on another trip together this year. Lee Yeon said that Lee Jong Won saw IU and Lee Yeon traveling together to Jeju Island and felt jealous because Lee Yeon is close with IU. He apparently wanted to join them too hahaha 😂
